About us

How the Wildflowers Grow Learning Center was inspired by a passion for education, individual growth, and mental health, aiming to support families and children in our Huntington, Indiana community through an outdoor learning experience. The name comes from Luke 12:27, encouraging faith and trust in natural growth, reflecting our individualized care for each child.

Outdoor Space

How the Wildflowers Grow is in Huntington, IN.  We have seven acres including a pond, gardens, chickens, goats, and wildflowers.  We have even had an otter in our pond!  We have playgrounds and this year we plan to have a large flower garden where we will have interactive play equipment for children throughout.

Indoor Space

On those chilly or rainy days, our indoor nature-themed classroom offers a cozy, engaging environment where learning and creativity can continue to flourish.

Individualized learning: enhanced comprehension through smaller class sizes

Our hybrid microschool approach benefits children and families through smaller classroom sizes and outdoor group experiences, enhancing learning comprehension. Statistics show that outdoor learning environments improve test scores, behavior, and overall well-being. We believe in the potential of outdoor play and its impact on a child's development at How the Wildflowers Grow Learning Center.
